Our Story
Kimorra Gill, founder, cake decorator and the creative force behind Kakes by Kimorra, started This Bakery twelve years ago in her home kitchen, Selling her creations to friends, family and people in her community. For Kimorra, building a bakery of her own was about more than just cultivating a thriving business; it was a way to create a sense of home and community while balancing a new life as a new mom. Her vision for Kakes by Kimorra, was humble in origin- grounded in a simple mission to bring people together with delicious pastries while providing deep sense of comfort and belonging. We are so grateful to the neighborhoods and communities we are a part of and for the incredible support of Kakes by Kimorra fans across the country.
